ana dress
made this jumper | dress yesterday for ana's 2nd birthday party today [she likes owls]. it was super simple - i will definitely be making some for etta. the pattern calls for facing the neckline front and back which was a little bit of a pain. i think next time i will just line the whole dress and make it reversible.
i used my buttonhole foot for the first time - i don't know why i have been scared of it for so long.

speaking of consignment, i am smitten with these shoes i bought last week. they are so little-boy-classic!
oh, the subject is a reference to one of our favorite color learning books: pete the cat (thanks pam!). pete loves his blue shoes too!
hat
another jake item just completed. a hat! i think these are even easier than the pants in the lotta baby book. this is the same that i made for oscar what seems like eons ago... ugh, how time flies, no?
j is for jaguar
so long as our blog is secret i can post anything i make :) i did this yesterday and it's for my friend, jess, who just had a baby boy named jake (jason is the dad). lot's of j's!
