fabricut
i sat on a McGorgeous couch last night at book club. i think it was 8 feet long. apparently, she had the sofa recently reupholstered in a very reasonably priced ($20/yd-ish) tweedy fabric from fabricut (wholesale only). i just browsed a bit through their extensive collection and even though there's a lot of stuff to sift through, with prices like that, it might be worth the effort.

weird - i just saw this place in a google search. i have been looking for furniture and fabric for one of my projects. defintely need some patience to sift through all the choices.
The fabric on meredith's couch was also tweedy but neither of these... it was really nice tho. She said most of the fabrics are rated for hotel use etc.. so they are sturdy.
that must be why i came across it - i was looking for super duper fabrics for the dermatology waiting room.
